General Music
Welcome to General Music!
The purpose of music is to have students learn about the elements of music (rhythm, harmony, melody, form, timbre, and texture), to educate students about their musical world from past to present and to also help them learn the skills necessay to become musical themselves through singing, playing, composing, and moving. Students also learn the importance of preparing for concerts and performing in them and how these experiences can help prepare students for the future.
